Violinist’s childhood bully asks her to play at her wedding for free—she gives her a reality

Having a unique talent can be a great asset that will serve you well for years to come. However, there may be instances where this talent leads to being picked on during childhood.

Tiffany Mulder is a well-known violinist who has been skilled at playing the violin since her middle school days.

In middle school, there was one person who constantly bullied her. However, that bully ended up coming back to Tiffany to ask for help planning her wedding for free, and learned a valuable lesson in the process.

Hello there! Long time no see,” the former bully started. “I’m getting married, and I would love for you to play the violin at my ceremony in October. It would be a great gift, and you could also use the photos and videos to showcase your talent! Win-win!

The girl believed Tiffany would be interested in expanding her portfolio, but Tiffany was already successful and didn’t require any assistance. She has received recognition from various online platforms, such as The Knot.

Tiffany responded, “Hi there! It’s quite presumptuous of you to expect a $2,500 service as a gift. You used to bully me a lot back in middle school for being in the orchestra. And as for building my portfolio, you might not know that I’ve been acknowledged by The Knot and Wedding Wire for 6 consecutive years,” said the violinist from Chicago.

I started building my portfolio when I was just 12 years old. I have been working in the wedding industry for 19 years.
