We sometimes hear people discussing being an ‘armchair quarterback.’ It generally is a lot easier to make the calls on the sidelines rather than doing them when you are under fire.

It seems as if this is also true when you are taking part in a famous game show. This includes The Wheel of Fortune, which has been on television for almost 50 years and often has millions playing at home.

Over the years, we’ve seen our fair share of amazing moments on The Wheel of Fortune and some of them continue to take us by surprise. Some of those moments are fantastic but others may make us scratch our heads and wonder what could have gone wrong.

Such was the case with the recent blunder that occurred on The Wheel of Fortune. The contestant may have been confident that he had the right answer, but he totally blew it.

It happened on November 11 when the episode aired and the contestant, named Will, was ready to solve the puzzle. Most people at home had probably already guessed what it would be, because there weren’t all that many missing letters.

The actual answer to the puzzle when the letters were filled in would have been “Give yourself a round of applause.” Will went another direction.

He was ready to solve and told Ryan Seacrest that he would solve the puzzle. He then answered: “Treat yourself a round of sausage.” He probably dropped the mic about that time.

As you can imagine, he lost the round when another contestant solved the puzzle. The host of the show then joked: “Will, I kind of like yours better.”
