Girls Visit Dad’s Grave in New Dresses, Find Surprising Gifts with Their Names

wo young girls visit their father’s grave on his birthday to exhibit their endearing attire in order to fulfill his final wish. Upon approaching the gravestone, they discover two exquisitely wrapped parcels bearing their names. They are unaware of the contents that await them.

Brian, their father, had been missing from Isla’s life since she was six and from Madison’s since she was eight. They no longer sneaked cookies or ice cream from the kitchen at night, teamed up to playfully bother their mother, or went on shopping trips since he passed away. Without Daddy Brian, those moments had lost their joy.

“You’re spoiling those girls, Brian!” Linda, Brian’s wife, was known to issue him verbal criticism. “What is the reason for your collective animosity toward me?” “I am aware that you steal from the pantry to provide for your little angels!”

“Well, I’ll spoil them for the rest of my life!” Brian would respond with an exuberant smirk. “For as long as I live, they will always be my top priority.” I apologize, my dear, but you have now encountered a competitor. However, I acknowledge that I have a deep affection for all of my daughters, including you, and extend a warm embrace.

That was Brian’s disposition. He consistently maintained equilibrium in any given circumstance. “He was the ideal family man.” However, subsequent to his passing, an alteration occurred. Linda was also grappling with the reality of his passing, and Isla and Madison became exceedingly reserved.

After all, her final recollections of Brian were nothing short of dreadful. She was unable to assist him as he passed away in front of her. Linda was informed by her physicians that she had stage four cancer. They initiated the treatment in the appropriate manner and made every effort to assist Brian; however, they were ultimately defeated by the dreadful illness.

The connections that have been established through love are impervious to death.

Brian’s health continued to deteriorate, and one morning, he didn’t wake up. The night before, Isla and Madison had stayed close by his side on the hospital bed. He had asked Linda to leave the girls with him that night, perhaps knowing it would be his last with them.

At 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, after Linda called the hospital, worried that Brian hadn’t answered his phone, the doctors informed her of his passing. With a sorrowful look, they gently covered his face with a white sheet. Brian was gone, and Linda’s heart shattered, realizing he would not be coming back.

Despite her efforts, Linda couldn’t find a way to move on from Brian’s passing. Her daughters showed more resilience than she did—they had managed to attend the funeral. Linda, however, couldn’t bear the sight of him being laid to rest beneath the ground, feeling overwhelmed by the finality of it all.

“I am eager to observe the attire that my daughters will sport on my birthday, as I wish for them to appear their most attractive.” Girls, do you pledge to present me with your stunning attire when you visit Daddy? The final statement Brian made was, “You see, it is possible that daddy will not be present on that day. However, you must guarantee that you will present yourself in the best possible manner.” His final wish was for his daughters to visit him on his birthday.

So the day before, the ladies requested that Linda accompany them on a shopping excursion.

“Mommy,” the young girl exclaimed. My red attire was adored by my father. For my birthday, he presented me with one. I am in search of a crimson dress.

Madison proposed, “You may select for me, mother.” “I want it to be Dad’s favorite color.”

Linda attempted to avoid the subject by saying, “I don’t think I have the time, girls.” She continued to mourn Brian’s passing. She was not prepared for any form of resolution.

“But we have to visit Daddy!” Isla insisted. “He asked me to wear something special on his birthday.” Madison had been asked the same.

Linda’s eyes filled with tears. In her overwhelming grief, she had completely forgotten about Brian’s birthday.

“What did he ask you?” Linda inquired, her eyes filling with weeping.

“On his birthday, Daddy desired to see us dressed in elegant attire.” Isla stated, “Mommy, we must visit him.” “Please act promptly!” We must conduct a purchasing excursion.

The question was posed by Linda, “When did he ask this?” “I – I didn’t know….” Brian’s dying intention was unknown to her.

“The night before he died, mom,” Madison disclosed. “He clasped our hands and expressed his desire to see us in elegant attire on his birthday.” I believe that we should do this for him, Mom. I understand that you are agitated, but could you please refrain from objecting? Linda’s ears were concealed by her palms. “I understand that you are grieving for your father, but we must do this for Isla.” She experiences an intense yearning for her father.

Madison was consistently brilliant as a child. She comprehended concepts that would be difficult for children her age to understand. Linda was ultimately persuaded to go shopping by her.

Linda replied, “That’s fine.” “Let us procure the most aesthetically pleasing attire for you, girls, so that your father is aware of the absence of our presence.” He will regret his decision to depart from us in this manner. Linda wept, and her daughters embraced her in an effort to alleviate her distress.

“Mom, Dad does not wish to witness your sorrow.” I am aware… Madison murmured while patting her mother’s back.

The following day, on Brian’s birthday, the young ladies walked to his grave while wearing their new outfits and holding hands. Linda was following them.

The little girls observed two exquisitely wrapped boxes with their names on them, and a small label on the top indicated that they were from Brian, as they stood in front of Brian’s gravestone.

“Mommy!” Isla turned to Linda and announced, “Daddy sent us gifts!” He is exceedingly foolish. He is unaware that we are required to present him with gifts on his birthday, and he chuckled.

Madison glanced at Linda, as if to indicate that she was aware that Brian could not have sent them that. Gifts are not sent by deceased individuals.

“Perhaps he was missing his daughters.” Linda smiled at the ladies, encouraging them to open the box.

Linda was compelled to conceal her emotions as the two girls began to unwrap the boxes. Madison wept for the first time since Brian’s passing, while Isla was beaming with joy.

Each parcel contained a letter from Brian and a charming pair of Mary Janes.

Isla exclaimed, “Shoes!” “Mommy, they are so beautiful!” Pink is my preferred hue.

The letter stated:

“My most beautiful daughters,

Some angels in paradise are taken aback by the beauty of girls. They assert that you are the most beautiful females that God has ever created. Daddy is able to observe the beauty of your attire. However, I desired to enhance the beauty of my daughters, which is why I acquired these shoes for you. I trust that you will appreciate them.

You see, although your father is not physically present, he is perpetually present in your spirit. I am aware that my daughters no longer consume ice cream and pastries. Please refrain from informing my mother, but I am aware that she has replenished the pantry with gigantic cookie cartons. I observed her performing that action. I am interested in hearing about the successful thefts you conducted behind your mother’s back during your next visit. Despite the absence of daddy, we will not refrain from causing trouble for mother. My desire is for you, ladies, to experience joy and a smile on a daily basis. Being decent is not always required. I am confident that even my mother does not appreciate that.

Additionally, I would like to extend my gratitude for your presence and for wishing me a good birthday, daughters. Your father harbors affection for you and yearns for your presence.

I am sending my beautiful daughters an abundance of affection.

Brian.

“Umm…that’s too much for me to read!” There was a complaint from Isla. “Madison, what did daddy write?”

Madison closely embraced Elsa. “He stated that he is content with his current situation, Isla, and he desires for us to share in that happiness.” He yearns for our presence. She added, “I am grateful for everything, mom,” acknowledging that the parcels were from her. “We appreciate you bringing us here.”

Linda smiled and whispered, “I love both of you,” expressing her gratitude to her daughters for assisting her in emerging from the sorrow and providing her with the fortitude to visit Brian.
